"Carrie Mac took to the stage at Maggie's chambers with a broken guitar and played an abundance of cracking tracks and left no doubt to her wondrous, undeniable talent. Opening with "Believe" Miss Mac's warm, soulful tone griped the audience. A slow track it showcases Mac's lush singing over gentle guitar strumming. "Stop" is a classic pop song reminiscent of Mac's heroes, the track is an upbeat r n b/pop hybrid highlighting Carrie powerful voice which fills the venue to rapturous applause. The audience fully recognised they are on the cusp of something very special happening. "Ain't Gonna Miss you" is a sexy, soulful jazz number which would annihilate a certain Miss Wino. The track is sublime, shimmering number which showcases wide talent and vocal ability. Carrie Mac sings with her heart on her sleeve, and provides a middle-finger salute to past loves and broken hearts, this combined with her most impassioned performance makes a refreshing change which will help her ascend to the very top. Carrie Mac is full of endless charisma and talent, like the twinkling stars behind her, her future is unquestionably sparkling."

"Carrie mixes pop/rnb/soul with acoustic to create a unique sound. With her strong vocals, powerful performances and honest lyrics, Carrie is definately "One To Watch"" - EVENING NEWS

"Scotland has spawned a fair number of great singer/songwriters and this girl is absolutely brilliant. She won Radio Forth's One to Watch. I was round at a friend's house when he put on her version of "Use Somebody" on and I swear I was in tears. It was amazing. Her album is all her own stuff so if you have moment go and listen to her on her website. I'm sure you will be impressed as another Scottish lassie heads for the big time." - Alison Craig, Sunday Mail
