Rockburn was born out of the frustration of seeing a lack of bands having the balls to play 'all out' Rock N' Roll. With a foundation of Booming, Bluesy beats and Punchy, Rhythmic bass playing combined with monstrous guitar riffs and "Great raspy vocals" the band are able to continually write hard hitting catchy Rock N' Roll songs which has seen them described as "A breath of fresh air".
With songs based on Love, Life and Drinking, complete with memorable riffs and "Totally Infectious" sing along chorus's fans keep enjoying and praising both Rockburn's self-released Lp's and live shows and keep coming back for more.
As well as playing festivals across the country, Gigging hard off there own backs, Supporting larger acts they have also toured with signed bands including Wishbone Ash and The Drella's (Ft Ex-Space front man Tommy Scott). In doing so the band have been able to build up a dedicated fan base across the UK and even in America which has seen them being invited to play in some of the most iconic venues in the UK including the prestigious Cavern Club in Liverpool and the world famous Glasgow Barrowlands.
In May 2009 the band began working with Gallus Music Management and have since seen the doors of opportunity thrown wide open for them. Recently the band have been starting to receive a lot of radio air-play throughout the country where the response has been excellent and even seen them win Rock Radio's (96.3FM) future classics where they won with 91% of the vote.
The band have just finished recording sessions at the Foundry Music Lab in Motherwell, Lanarkshire where their songs have been produced by the legendary Sandy Jones and Graeme Duffin (Wet Wet Wet's producer and guitarist) and now have the first single 'Night on Fire' ready for a planned release in February 2010. As well as the single release early in 2010 the band will be playing hard across the country and Europe throughout 2010 to gain further support and and promote their debut single and any others that follow.
Its exciting times for both the band and fans alike and we hope to see you all in 2010.

''Classic Rock n' Roll, but with a 21st century twist".
These boys from Bellshill are definitely going places... Its old school rock and roll here folks, with a mix of blues and unrestricted writing. These guys don’t hold back in their lyrics. Basically they are catchy, captivating and blooming good fun, a breath of fresh air. They definitely have potential. Their local papers support them and the turn out for their gig was pretty impressive. Everyone was dancing towards the end of their set. They are relentlessly working towards higher plateaus and will most definitely get there if they keep this kind of performance up.''
