A British singer-songwriter with a flair for writing uplifting, yet emotion-wrenching, indie-electro-pop. Rae Morris was born in Blackpool, and is now based in London. Following the release of three EPs, and appearing in the BBC Sound Of 2015, she released her debut album in January 2015. The record received much critical acclaim, and hit the top 10 upon release.
She has collaborated with artists such as Bombay Bicycle Club, Clean Bandit, KAYTRANADA and Rejjie Snow amongst others.
Her second album ‘Someone Out There’, released in February 2018, saw her dive firmly in to the world of electro-pop, writing her songs in technicolour and drawing on the experience of falling in love with her long-time collaborator Fryars aka Ben Garrett. Her track ‘Do It’, taken from this record, was named by renowned UK music site Popjustice as their #1 Track of 2017
