Adam French follows on from his incendiary new release “Wanna Be Here” last month with the announcement of his new UK headline tour, beginning in March 2019.
Following two EP releases – including a viral cover of Walkmen’s ‘The Rat’ – Adam put himself on the radars of a diverse number of modern icons, from Dua Lipa to Tony Hawk, also immediately picking up critical support from the likes of BBC Introducing and Communion Live. Now following the release of “Wanna Be Here” – picking up immediate support across CLASH MAGAZINE, COUP DE MAIN and a slew of tastemaker blogs with over 80,000 views inside its first week, Adam announces his Spring 2019 headline tour, taking in Manchester, Brighton, Nottingham, London, Glasgow and Dublin.
The past eighteen months have seen French playing gigs with some of the most exciting talent coming out of the country - Nilüfer Yanya, Jade Bird, Jacob Banks and Freya Ridings - as well as major festivals Reading & Leeds, The Great Escape, Latitude, Festival #6 and Reeperbahn. This immediate recognition going hand-in-hand with rare support from Burberry Music means that his first headline shows of 2019 will be a standout affair and will look to cement the growing critical and tastemaker attention around the rising star.
