Chapo Trap House is a collective of leftist writers, artists, and satirists that began as a political comedy podcast in March 2016.
Their biweekly show has been covered everywhere from the New Yorker to Vice to Paste Magazine, which calls its creators "the vulgar, brilliant demigods of the new progressive left." Chapo is a mix of absurdist comedy and freewheeling commentary, with everything from skewering political and media figures to roasting bad movies and books. In 2018 their book The Chapo Guide to Revolution: A Manifesto Against Logic, Facts, and Reason debuted on the New York Times bestseller list. Chapo is hosted by Felix Biederman, Matt Christman, Amber A'Lee Frost, Will Menaker, and Virgil Texas; and produced by Chris Wade. They live in Brooklyn, New York.
