A couple of bevvies later; a plan was born. After two failed attempts at getting together - and a pandemic to boot - the band finally formed in January 2022.
Before they had played their first gig the then unreleased track White Rocks had already picked up its first airplay on BBC Introducing in Scotland and later on Amazing Radio in the UK and USA. Frankie in the meantime had also met and began playing with established singer-songwriters Neev (acoustic guitar, keys, BVs) and Samuel Nicholson (electric guitar) after hitting it off at a gig at a dive bar in Camden ran by a mutual friend. White Rocks, part of a larger project to be released in 2022, was recorded between Frankie’s flat, friends houses, as well as sneaking in late at night to a local studio for free. Self-produced by Frankie, with tracks mixed by Taylor Pollock and mastered by Izzy McPhee, a deliberate choice was made to secure an all female engineering team. BBC Introducing's Shereen Cutkelvin: "I absolutely love this artist…Frankie is on a mission to let the world know women can front guitar bands...and I'm sure she is going to succeed."
