Growing up in the small town of Kirriemuir, Katie was fortunate to have always been surrounded by small live music festivals and music fans. This partly inspired her to pick up a guitar at the age of ten, and soon she began writing and playing in front of audiences all over Scotland. Katie has played to around 300 crowds over the last seven years, and in 2023 scored support slots for the likes of Rianne Downie, and joined Callum Beattie on his summer tour- playing some of her biggest shows to date.
