Lauren Spiteri is a Glasgow born singer/songwriter. Learning to strum the guitar at an early age Lauren soon honed her songwriting skills. After moving to London in 2008, Lauren worked on many musical projects with friends/fellow musicians but it wasn’t until she met Luis Felber (ALLTHINGSMATA) in 2016 that she started to focus on her own solo material with Felber on production. The pair instantly connected through music creating a unique dark pop sound, which has been compared to the haunting melodies of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, Mazzy Star and Lana Del Rey. Lauren has also worked with Fred Macpherson (Spector) and Felber on her debut single ‘Someone Else’s Dream’ released March 2019 as well as her most recent release ‘Bitterbug’. Lauren will be Headlining the first ever ‘Queen Tut’s’ Stage at TRNSMT festival in Glasgow on Friday 12th of July.
