Lewis McLaughlin, indie troubadour hailing from the vibrant streets of Leith, is set to release his highly anticipated second album, "A Hope In Fear." on August 2nd. Following the success of his debut LP, "Feel the Ground You Walk Upon," McLaughlin's latest offering promises to captivate audiences with its blend of introspective lyricism and infectious melodies.   Growing up in the heart of Edinburgh, McLaughlin found inspiration in the eclectic energy of his surroundings. From the bustling streets of Leith to the serene landscapes of the Highlands, his music reflects a deep connection to both urban grit and natural beauty. "My songs have always had a strong sense of place," says McLaughlin. "Leith and the Highlands shaped my perspective on life and art in profound ways."   McLaughlin began writing songs in secret at the age of 14. After honing his craft through intimate pub gigsand local performances, he made the leap to Glasgow, where he collaborated with Andy Monaghan of Frightened Rabbit fame on his debut album. Released in 2022, the album garnered widespread acclaim and set the stage for McLaughlin's meteoric rise in the indie music scene.
