Modena City Ramblers were born in 1991 as an Irish folk group, always in love with the music and traditions of the Emerald Isle. Since then, a 30-year-old period studded with great success, both record-wise and live tours, in Italy and Europe.
After a stop in 2020 that forcibly kept the band away from their fans, accustomed to about 80 dates a year on stage in 2021, the group is back to celebrate their 30-year career with the same spirit as always, with music and extreme closeness to their audience. In 2022, Modena City Ramblers kicked off their tour to celebrate "Appunti Partigiani," a 2005 gold record and an important milestone in their rich recording career, which, in addition to Italy, also reached South Africa, Spain, Sziget Festival in Budapest, with more than 40 shows. Since November 2022 the band has taken the celebratory tour to Italian clubs as well. In 2023 the new album is expected by the Summer of 2023
