Originally hailing from Manchester Proud Mary are most well known for being a superb live band and the first signing to Noel Gallagher's Sour Mash record label.
Their debut album Same old Blues was recorded at Wheeler End Studios in November 2000 over a period of 7 days and produced by Noel Gallagher assisted by Gem Archer, engineered by Stan Kybert and mixed by Mark "Spike" Stent at Olympic Studios in London.

The band have always been shaped around a nucleus of Greg Griffin (frontman) and Paul Newsome (songwriter/guitar) and collaborators include members of Oasis, The Smiths, Ocean Colour Scene, Happy Mondays, Gorillaz, Black Crowes.
Now 5 albums in and primarily based in America the band will be in UK early 2025 for select shows at some iconic venues.
