What do we sound like? As if Biffy Clyro, Nirvana and Foo FIghters had a threesome and we were the end result. So, basically, Alternative Rock.
What are our influences? Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Muse and Queens of the Stone Age.
What’s Going On?
After our Album Launch, and follow up gigs, we are continuing to write new music as we go, and hope to get back into the studio soon to get another album recorded. As for now, we are working hard on getting our current set as tight as possible,as well as perfecting our own unique sound, all while making new connections and keeping fresh ideas in our mix.
Background Info
With all four of us having a driving passion for making music, it made sense for us to attend a music course at college. And it was here that we all met, had a few laughs, experimented with songwriting assignments, and eventually, Take Today was formed within our first year together at Motherwell College. Despite going through some line-up changes over the years, our most recent member, Pete, joined us in mid April 2016 as our Bassist. Since then, we have recorded our Debut album “Choices”, and played some fantastic shows, most notably, supporting Altered Sky at their show at The Garage, Glasgow
