The Notions’ new, post-pandemic era kicked off in August 2021 with the release of debut single ‘Do You Feel The Same?’, headlining a sold out show at Glasgow’s Broadcast the next day. Early 2022 saw the release of ‘Dependent’ and ‘Don’t Make It That Way’, both of which receiving national radio coverage on BBC Introducing.
Support slots across Scotland followed, including opening for some of the UK’s finest up-and-coming acts such as The Royston Club and Andrew Cushin. The release of 4th single ‘Better Than You’ at the back end of 2022 set the tone for what was to come in the new year. 2023 started with a bang, with the bands headline at King Tuts’ New Years Revolution in early January selling out in advance. Just weeks later, a slot supporting The Academic at the iconic Barrowland Ballroom saw the band play to their biggest audience yet.
