The Plastic Youth are an indie/jangle-pop four piece from Glasgow.
Glasgow-based four-piece The Plastic Youth infuse a backdrop of crisp and exciting guitar tones with shiny, jangle-pop textures, topped with sugary, infectious melodies. Recalling the likes of Canadian outfit Alvvays, as well as The Strokes, Frankie Cosmos and The Beatles.
Delivering a fresh angle on the indie rock scene, The Plastic Youth are currently making headway with their debut single, “Sweet Dreamer” released in late September of 2018.
The band was formed in late 2013 when lead vocalist Jack Graham was joined by brother Adam Graham (Drums) and childhood neighbour Nic Sharp (Lead Guitar). They soon proceeded to write and play shows together around the Glasgow music scene, before bringing Jude Taylor on bass to complete the line up of The Plastic Youth.
