The tour will feature original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer, and Spider Stacy along with special guests in their first UK appearance since 2014 when they performed at London’s Hyde Park with The Libertines. The Pogues in May 2025 will visit Leeds, Birmingham, London, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle; with tickets going on sale Friday 22nd November at 09.30am here.
The band are set to play the legendary album Rum Sodomy & the Lash in full, including b sides, extended version tracks plus a special selection of their most beloved material. Album highlights include iconic songs like "Rainy Night in Soho," “A Pair of Brown Eyes” and "Dirty Old Town." Ranked among Rolling Stone’s Best 500 Albums of All Time and featured in such tastemaker books as 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die; Rum Sodomy & the Lash is a certified classic which has influenced countless artists globally and continues to impact listeners 40 years on. The Pogues said: ‘After the uproarious bash which was the 40th anniversary of our first record, Red Roses for Me, in 2024, we wanted to do it again, but with Rum Sodomy & the Lash.’
